Rosemary Juanita Jackson

Rosemary Juanita (Avery) Jackson, of Bradford, departed this life Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born May 16, 1937 in Grand Ledge, Michigan to the late Elmer Avery and May (Seymour) Avery-Johnston. Rosemary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent most of her life as a caregiver and enjoyed taking care of people. She was a great lady with a big heart and loved helping everyone she could. Rosemary was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. When she was able she enjoyed gardening, canning, and going fishing with family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Avery and May (Seymour) Avery-Johntson; husbands, Leslie Allen Brass and Oliver Ray Jackson; two sons, David Leslie Brass and Bryan Lee Brass; one grandson, Rodney James Loubert; and six siblings, Clara Gage, Severine Allen, Georgeanne Platte, Lloyd Avery, George Beebe, and Verne Beebe. Left to cherish Rosemary’s memory are her children, Jerry Brass of Bradford, Sharlene Loubert of Lansing, Michigan, and Debbie Martenies of Bradford; thirteen grandchildren, Theresa Timberlake, Heather Smith, Allen Martenies, Jason Stull, Erica Gatt, Michelle Hanle, Brandy Ivens, Roseann Wood, Amanda Krull, Daniel Loubert, Chad Brass, Justin Brass, and Joey Hillier; twenty three great-grandchildren, Justin Presser, Jessie Presser, David Wood, Abby Wood, Chanel Smith, David Smith, Olivia Smith, Bryan Loubert, Alyssia Loubert, Christian Loubert, Kenzie Martenies, James Timberlake, Brittany Timberlake, William Timberlake, Joshua Timberlake, Destiny Cuenca, Bryan Cuenca, Nia Ivens, Liam Ivens, Aria Ivens, Andrea Krull, Aubrey Krull, and Kevin Krull; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Allen Martenies, Al Martenies, Jim Jackson, John Jackson, Monty Wood, and James “Alphie” Flowers. Honorary pallbearers are Dan Loubert, Jason Stull, Justin Presser, and Jessie Presser. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Don Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery.
