William Clark "Bill" Hyde

William Clark Hyde – February 13, 1943 – August 18, 2018 William “Bill” Hyde of Bradford, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 18, 2018. Bill was born in Flint, Michigan February 13, 1943 and was a loving and committed husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by many. Bill married his wife Sue on April 13, 1963 and together they raised 4 children. Bill retired from General Motors in Flint, Michigan in 1982 where he had worked for 26 years. Bill, Sue and family moved to Arkansas in 1984. Bill heeded God’s calling and became a licensed minister graduating from Flint Bible Instituter in 1971. He often traveled to churches in south central Michigan to preach as a lay minister of the Southern Baptist Church. He became a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks but always remained a devoted follower of the Detroit Tigers and never missed a game. He also loved dancing with his wife Sue and his grandchildren at local dances. Those who knew Bill would tell you he always had a smile on his face and loved life and family. He was a one of a kind man. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glendolyn Sue (Poole) Hyde; four children, Tammie Borden, Bill {Mary} Hyde of Bradford, Arkansas, Tim {Carisa} Hyde of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Susan Lane of Newport, Arkansas; one brother Charles {Barb} Hyde of Clio, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Dorothy Hyde; three brothers Robert, Tom, and John; and one grandchild Daniel Borden. Visitation will be at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home; Bradford, AR Tuesday August 21 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Services and Interment to be held Wednesday, August 22 2:00 P.M. at Oakland Church 2530 Jackson 2, Bradford, AR 72020.
