Beatrice Louise Farnsworth

Beatrice Louise Farnsworth, 82, of Bald Knob, Arkansas died Monday, September 13, 2010 at her home, after a brief battle with cancer and surrounded by her family. She was born Beatrice Louise England on September 29, 1927 in Monette (Buffalo Township), Arkansas to the late Mayo and Hattie Gauf England. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lowell Lee Farnsworth; 13 children, Lee Sheridan (Margaret) of Bay, Arkansas, Robert Charles (Earlene) of Augusta, Arkansas, Danny (Phyllis) of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Davey Ray (Violet) of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Jerry (Barbara) of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Terry (Edna) of West Point, Arkansas, Lowell Lynn (Dolores) of Bald Knob, Wayne (Lynette) of Ward, Arkansas, Sharon Phyllis (Adrian) Martin of Griffithville, Arkansas, Shirley Jean (Danny) Wadley of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Delma Kay Rutherford of Searcy, Arkansas, Beatrice Gwen (Cloyce) Dodson) of Searcy, Arkansas, Sonya Gail (John) Mobley of Water Valley, Mississippi; 34 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Garrett of Brookland, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Spillman of Lake City, Arkansas; a brother, Gene England of Bay, Arkansas and 1 grandchild, Robin Farnsworth of Bald Knob, Arkansas. She was of Christian faith. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 39 years. She began her service at the Bald Knob Chapter and ended her service at the Kensett Chapter. She held numerous positions including Worthy Matron and most recently, Deputy Grand Lecturer for the Eight District. A visitation service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Order of the Eastern Star rites will be conducted at this time. Cremation will follow by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
