Bobby Joe Miller

Bobby Joe Miller, 69 of Judsonia, Arkansas passed peacefully surrounded by family Friday, November 15th 2024. He was born January 23, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Calvin and Wanda (Brooks) Miller. Bobby married the love of his life, Debra Miller, on June 8, 1985 and they spent 39 wonderful years together. He was a true carpenter by nature. Built beautiful homes; could create masterpieces out of a simple piece of wood and enjoyed every minute doing so. He took pride in his homestead and enjoyed raising chickens, playing a game of HORSE with his children as they grew up, working on his tractors, and pushing a grand in a swing. He found joy in simple moments in his life like sitting on the front porch to enjoy a good sunrise and nature, reading anything he had the time to, and strolling around flea markets in his weekend free time. He was a member of the OC Hunting Club in Sparkman, AR. Anything that involved the beauty of the outdoors; he soaked up. He loved a good Razorback win; especially in basketball (WOO PIG SOOIE)! However, Bobby was best known for the love he had for his family. Bobby was the oldest of nine. Preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ronnie, Eddie, and Doyle Miller. He is survived by his wife, Debi Miller and children Craig Martens, Chad Martens, Kevin (Amanda) Miller, Alexandrea Miller, Jennifer (Seth) Bellamy. Leaving a legacy of grandchildren Jacob Miller, Riley Miller, Kalli (Daniel) Parrott, Drew Martens, Camden Cline, Hayden Martens, Brayden Miller, Kylie Martens, Kinley Martens, Elliot Miller, and great grand daughter, Maylie Parrott. He was proudly awaiting the arrival of grandson, Sterling Bellamy. Bobby also is survived by siblings Ricky (Leisa) Miller, Teresa (Frankie) Pratt, Vanessa Farley, Leslie Miller, and Michael Miller. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 2pm at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to service at 1pm in the same location. Interment will be in Searcy, Arkansas at White County Memorial Gardens. Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are Blake Gray, Trevor Lay, Adam Smith, Camden Cline, Brayden Miller, and Daniel Parrott, Ethan Timm, and Cameron Palmer; and Honorary Pallbearer: Jacob Miller.
