Hester Lou Reynolds

Hester Lou (Taylor) Reynolds was born September 18, 1943. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2025 at the age of 81 years old. Hester was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and so much more! She loved her family fiercely and always wanted the best for them. She was an extremely strong woman and proved that even more than we already knew in the last few weeks. There are so many life lessons she taught us all and we are all better people because of her. This is part of something that was written about the type of person she was… * genuine is where it starts and stops. *she has Never pretended to be anyone except who she is *she loved her family fearlessly * she would fight a rattlesnake for her family even if they were wrong. * she could work all day and make a meal out of nothing, and she taught me that *she trusted and believed in forgiveness. * she could calm any baby and loved them all. * she had a special way of comforting anyone, even a stranger. *she did ALL OF this with a smile and a hymn in her heart! She made anyone feel rich no matter how poor they were. This is just a small part of who she was. Out of all the wonderful things she was, being a Christian is the most amazing part of who she was. She is survived by her children James Thomas Reynolds (Karen) Batesville, Savonia Gail Stokes (Kyle) Searcy, Tammie Lynn Triplett (Tim) Paragould Steven Ray Reynolds (Holly) Hickory Flat. She had the honor of raising 2 of her grandchildren, Emily Hope Reynolds (Tim) Searcy, John Corey Reynolds (Shayleigh) Paragould. Who she always treated and loved as her own children. Grandchildren, Josiah Reynolds, Lilly Reynolds, Christopher James Reynolds (Brittney) Mt. Home, Nicholas Sean Reynolds (Catherine) Mt. Home, Amber Nichole Showalter (Thomas) Batesville, Kayla Nicole Copeland (Alan aka mom’s boyfriend), Kyle Shawn Stokes Jr. (Megan), Shemia Oninski, Damien Triplett, Kaitlyn Mason (Adam), Matthew Reynolds (Kaya), Rachel Davidson (Tye), Billie Jean. Brayden Reed. A Host of Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren all of whom she adored. Extended family and so many friends! Sisters Shirley Perry, Searcy, Ruth Reynolds, Romance, Brother Walter Taylor, McCrory. She was proceeded in death by her father Clarence Taylor, mother Letha Taylor, husband John (Pete) Reynolds, son John David Reynolds, daughter Lou Ann Reynolds, sister Lavern Williams, brother Jerry Taylor.
