Landyn Andrew Doane, 22, born 3/18/2003 in Forrest City, AR passed peacefully in his sleep at his home at 232 Warren Road, Judsonia, AR on 6/11/2025. Landyn was a graduate of White County High School class of 2021. Landyn was a proud new Uncle that loved spending time with his family and friends. Landyn was only 22, far too young to leave us, but in those short years, he filled our lives with more love, laughter, and light than many do in a lifetime. He had a heart that radiated kindness. He loved everyone, and he cared — deeply, genuinely, and without hesitation. Whether you were a friend, a stranger, or family, Landyn made you feel like you mattered. He had a special bond with his brothers, often found shoulder to shoulder with them, gaming late into the night. Fortnite was his favorite — he loved collecting new skins, jumping into matches, and, more recently, jamming out in Fortnite Festival, singing along to every song, even if he didn’t know the words. Music was a part of his soul. It didn’t matter the genre or the artist — if it played, Landyn sang. Off-key or not, his joy was contagious. He had a passion for storytelling and imagination. He loved anime, and he lived for Dungeons & Dragons — getting lost in the worlds he created and the adventures he shared with his friends. He made room in his heart for so many people, and somehow, he always made time for everyone. At home, he was the sweet tea master and only just shared his secret recipe with his brother, Aaron — no family gathering was complete without a pitcher of Landyn’s Famous Sweet Tea. Tea duty is now on your shoulders, Aaron, but it’ll surely taste a bit sweeter! It’s those small, beautiful things we’ll hold onto forever. One thing stood above it all — Landyn loved his momma more than anything in this world. No matter how tired he was or how late it got, he always made sure to come in just to tell her goodnight. Every single night, without fail, he would walk in, give her a hug, and say, “Sleep good, Momma.” That was who he was — consistent, loving, and present. And when she had long, hard days at work, Landyn would rub her shoulders, trying to ease her pain the only way he knew how — with love, with his hands, with his heart. Recently, Landyn stepped into a new role — one that he embraced with pride and joy: being an uncle. When little Joely Sue was born, something in Landyn lit up. From the moment he met her, he loved her deeply, and the feeling was mutual. Joely adored her Uncle Landyn. She always wanted to go to him — drawn in by his kind eyes, his gentle voice, and the loving energy that poured out of him without effort. Even as a baby, she saw him — saw the goodness in him — just like we all did. And perhaps the most precious bond Landyn had was with his little sister. She wasn’t just family to him — she was his best friend. He was always there to listen, to protect, to make her laugh, and of course, to make her ramen noodles — a small gesture that meant the world.Landyn had the rare gift of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. And though he’s no longer with us, his spirit lives on in every song we hear, every sip of sweet tea, every shared game, every night we tell someone we love them, and every act of kindness we extend in his name. He leaves behind his mom, Kerrie Doane, niece Joely Doane, four brothers, John Doane, Aaron Doane, Jayden Branyan, Logan Doane sister Ashlynn Branyan along with a family full of people that loved and cherished his kind spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Duane Doane. Uncle Kenny Wayne Miller, Grandparents Kenneth Wayne Miller, Joyce Marie Miller, GrandBobbie and John Doane. Funeral services celebrating Landyn’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
