Michael Wayne Browning

Michael Wayne Browning, 52, of Beedeville, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Forrest City Hospital in Forrest City, Arkansas. He was born August 15, 1970, in Wynne, Arkansas, the son of Johnny Browning and Mary Ann Morgan. Michael was a 1988 graduate of McGavock High School in Nashville, Tennessee. After high school he ventured into many trades and developed countless skills along the way. Mike worked with his hands all his life and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He was an avid outdoorsman. He had a special talent for blowing a duck call, catching flathead catfish, and cooking the best food. Mike was known to be a hard worker but that didn’t stop him from having a good time. He enjoyed drinking a cold beer… or 20, cutting up with anyone who would listen, riding backroads looking for wildlife, and sitting in the truck listening to 93.1 FM radio. Mike was his happiest when he was in his boat, on the Cache River, with his sons and best buddies. He loved cooking fish just as much as he loved to catch them. Everyone that knew him will miss his fried catfish and homemade hushpuppies. He was the king of Yahtzee or so he said. There were many rounds of Yahtzee played at the Browning house. Mike was one of the best friends anyone could ask for. It didn’t matter what the situation was, he was there to help. He retired several years ago as a Crane Operator. After retirement he spent most of his time with his grandson, Teagan. They spent a lot of their time pestering each other but Mike did find time to teach him a few things he knew. Above everything else that Mike had done in his lifetime, he always made sure to take care of his family. Times weren’t always easy for him, but he never let a single thing keep him down. His family will remember the love, hard work, and dedication he had for them. His children will remember the life lessons and long talks about life and how to live it. Mike was a good husband, father, and papa. He will be deeply missed by those that loved him. He is survived by, his beloved wife of 26 years, Kimberely Ann Browning; children, Anna Leigh Browning, Dylan Wayne Browning, Andrew Manuel, and Britney (Garrett) Hart; grandchildren, Teagan Lee Hall, Allie Faye Manuel, and Jackson Hart; son in law, Trevor Hall; his mother, Mary Ann (Mike) Morgan; his father, Johnny Browning, his brother, Philip (Angela) Wiggins; his sisters, Kim (Brian) Way and Mary Jo (Roger) Morris; honorary children; Drake Files and Vincent Drake; Special mentions; Aunts, Iva Hoffman and Ethel (Coy) Reed, uncle, Larry Hoffman, cousins, Troy (Jennifer) Reed and Laura Hoffman Estes, he is also survived by a host of extended family and countless friends. He was preceded in death by; his daughter, Megan Browning; step mother, Dora Browning; grandparents, Roy Wayne and Gladys Elizabeth Reed and Arlie and Clara Browning.
