Micheal John Morris

Micheal John Morris, 22, of Bradford passed from this life January 28, 2019 in Olyphant. He was born January 7, 1997 in Searcy to Cynthia Juanita Willis Medlock and Micheal Lee Morris. Micheal physically left our lives unexpectedly on January 28, 2019, but he never left our hearts or our memories. His earthly remains were recovered on November 18, 2021. Micheal had entered peacefully into rest in a remote, wooded area near where he would, from time to time, do one of his favorite activities, arrowhead hunting. He was a quiet, respectful young man with a huge heart. He always wanted everyone to get along. He looked up to his dad and enjoyed doing carpentry work with him. Micheal was a momma’s boy and knew that no matter what, she would always be there. Micheal was a 2015 graduate of Bradford High School. He loved children and was good with them. He aspired to one day have a family of his own. He loved animals and over the years had several critters. He loved his dog cotton who passed in 2020. Micheal learned how to make explosions by mixing cola and mentos together and was fascinated with the loud noises the mixtures made. That may be the reason that Micheal’s favorite holiday was Independence Day. On July 4th of every year, he would focus on setting off fireworks. Bottle rockets were among his favorite, and he would hold back multiple bundles every year and save them for later. He loved playing baseball, fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and playing musical instruments. Micheal was saved and Baptized at Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford. Between the ages of 5 and 17, he attended the AWANA program at Bradford Baptist Church. Micheal loved reading his Bible and sharing God with others. He enjoyed aggravating and pestering people, especially his sisters and nephews. Micheal’s smile, laughter, voice, and kind, loving heart will forever be missed by those who loved him. He is survived by his parents, Cynthia Medlock (JC) and Micheal Morris (Hope); siblings, Makiyla Morris and her son Kai, John Medlock (a nephew that Micheal considered a brother), Jason Medlock (Rebecca, and their son Justin), and Ashley Medlock and her son Colton; grandmothers, Sharon Willis, Debbie Adams, and Shirley Hunter; close family members, Amanda Willis, Natasha Adams, Chris Morris, Shannon Curtis, Dustin Medlock, Shenna Marsh, Troy Willis, Ricky and Frances Willis, Taylor Curtis, Breann Medlock, Xander Franco and Brayden Eich; and numerous other family, friends, and other loved ones. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Troy Willis Sr, and Johnny Morris; grandmother, Kathy Puderbach; uncle, Lee Willis; and a great aunt, Phylis Willis. The family of Micheal Morris would like to thank Detective Josh Biviano and the White County Sheriff’s Department, Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Arkansas Never Forgotten, the Morgan Nick Foundation, David Clark, and the host of friends, family, community members, and other organizations that offered support, prayers, equipment, and time during the efforts to locate and recover Micheal. We would also like to offer our appreciation for the care, respect, and hospitality that was shown to us by the group of hunters that discovered Micheal’s remains. We thank God for answering our prayers and allowing Micheal to be brought back home. Visitation is from 6-8pm Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Bradford Memorial Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford Arkansas. Interment is in Coffeyville Cemetery.
