Patricia Carolyn Gibbs

Patricia (Pat) Gibbs, wife of the late Claude Gibbs, passed away on March 18, 2026. Born May 30, 1941, in Milo, Arkansas, to the late Odell and Lavon Oden of Crossett, Arkansas. Her brothers, Royce and Gary Oden of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away before her. She was also proceeded in death by a great grandson, Keller Johnson, of Searcy, Arkansas. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Duncan (Lynn), who lives in Alexandria, Arkansas, as well as her sisters-in-law, Betty Oden and Alice Oden. She leaves behind three daughters: Pam Roth of Searcy, Arkansas; Debbie Runyon and her husband Mike Runyon of Bald Knob, Arkansas; and Rhonda Clark and her husband Youles Clark of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She is survived by six grandchildren, Cameron Pheifer, of Searcy, Arkansas, Staci Neisler,(Kevin) of McCrory, Arkansas, Jeremy Roth,(Jessica) of Judsonia, Arkansas, Linzi Johnson, (Marcus)of Searcy, Arkansas, Taylor Crappel, (Joseph), of Lafeyette, Louisiana, and McKenzie Tessaro,(Chad) of Tontitown, Arkansas. Special grandson-in-law, Josh Pheiffer. She is survived by fifteen great-grandchildren—Brynndon, Kinton, Lucas, Trislynn, Maddox, Kijah, Keelin, Kabre, Kendri, Karder, Kalem, Adalyn, Evelyn, Joseph, and Giacomo—as well as two great-great-grandchildren, Ezra and Kailan. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was involved in church work, choir, WMU, Matthew House, and the Extra Mile Food Pantry. She supported husband through all his ministries. She was always by his side. She was a dedicated worker at American Greetings in McCrory, Arkansas for 5 years, helped with the Garden Club, and worked with AARP. She loved spending time with family, traveling when possible, going out to eat, and reading her bible. Over the years, she has enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, bowling, pottery, and walking with friends. Services will be conducted at Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations to be made to Alzheimers Association, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205, in honor of Patricia. The family asks for everyone to leave a memory they shared with Patricia here on the website, some of the memories will be read during the service and others will be displayed in an album for everyone to enjoy.
