Patricia Ann Perry

Patricia Ann Watson Perry (60) of Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas departed this life on January 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 10, 1962, in Newport, Arkansas, the daughter of George and Imagene Watson. Not many knew Patricia by her name, most referred to her as Hillbilly. A nickname her husband gave her years ago that stuck with her. Hillbilly loved to hunt and fish. She was an avid deer hunter when she was able. In the fall she would sit out on the porch and watch the hummingbird’s feed. Hillbilly was known for her baking and cooking; she enjoyed making banana nut bread and zucchini bread. Her friends and family will miss her Thanksgiving Dressing. Hillbilly loved yard sale season and enjoyed going around visiting people. Those that knew Hillbilly, loved her and will greatly miss her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her husband of twenty one years, Ronnie Gene Perry of Pumpkin Bend; two sons, James (Christa) Meredith of Adona and Blake Edward (Jennifer) Meredith of Searcy; mother in law, Ora Mae Depriest of Pumpkin Bend; Step daughter, Karen Rhnea Austin of Conway; seven grandchildren, Heather Knight, Nicholas Harsson, Tristan Meredith, Ethan Meredith, Rebecca Meredith, Luca Abernathy, and Jade Meredith; six siblings; Betty Watkins, Linda (Danny) McGlothlin, Glenda (Steve) Oden, Charlene (James) Allgood, Travis Watson, and Roger (Sandy) Watson. She was preceded in death by; her parents, George W. Watson and Imagene (Laire) Watson; sister, Ruby Watson; her brothers; Cecil, Bobby, George “Fuzzy”, Jerry, Danny Wayne, and Gerald “Buddy” Watson. The Perry Family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Kristy Conway Franklin, a very special friend that has kept their family strong during this time. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta, AR. Visitation will be held prior to services from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023. Interment will be at Hunter Cemetery in Hunter, AR. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Woodruff County.
