Theressa Renee Mandrell

Theressa Renee (Martin) Mandrell passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 56, surrounded by love. Born on May 24, 1969, in Searcy, Arkansas, she lived a life marked by compassion and an unwavering love for her family. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Throughout her life, Theressa pursued a variety of careers that reflected her creativity and compassion. She worked as a cosmetologist and graphic designer before finding her true calling as a special education teacher. Her time at Arch Ford Education Services was especially meaningful to her, where she poured her heart into supporting students with unique needs. Her work left a lasting impact on those she taught and worked alongside. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family. She is survived by her brother, Steven Martin and his wife Anne Martin; sister, Tammy Herman and her husband Jerry Herman; and her four children: son, Timothy Kyle Brooks; daughter, Kristen Mobley and her husband Andrew Mobley; son, Jonathan Mandrell and his wife Twyla Mandrell; and daughter, Caitlyn Mandrell. Theressa’s spirit lives on through her six beloved grandchildren: Pearce Mobley, Tyler Mobley, Julian Mandrell, Madeline Mandrell, Paisley Babb, and Penelope Deeter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann (Pearce) Martin, and her father, Connith Billy Ray (Bill) Martin. Theressa delighted in cooking for those she loved. Her kitchen was often filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of a home-cooked meal. Theressa was known for her loving nature and kind spirit. She was deeply loved by those who knew her. Theressa’s kind heart shone brightest in the presence of her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and found immense joy in being a part of their lives. In quiet moments or joyful gatherings, she found deep fulfillment in being present for those she loved most. Theressa’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort and inspiration to all whose lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 03:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, AR.
