Vicki Jo Leonard

Vicki Jo (Mason) Leonard, 70, of Bradford, passed from this life on Monday, April 20, 2026 at her home. She was born June 19, 1955 in Andover, Kansas, a daughter of the late Blane and Helen (Teester) Mason. Vicki embodied what it meant to be a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She relied daily on the Lord’s guidance to care for her husband and raise her family. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ. Vicki lived her life to the fullest, enjoying each and every day. Always busy, Vicki could usually be found working in her yard and garden, carefully tending to her vegetables and flowers alongside her devoted husband. She was very talented in many areas and could do about anything she set out to do. She was a skilled quilter and had created more than 50 quilts for family and friends. She loved to can vegetables and was very talented in the kitchen. She was one of the best cooks around. She also enjoyed sports; not only watching, but participating. Vicki was an avid golfer and once won the club championship at the Bald Knob Country Club. Like the rest of the family, she was a devoted Razorback fan as well. Vicki believed in hard work and helping provide a good life for her family. She previously owned and operated Lonestar Distributing Company, a local dry-cleaning business and was a member of Local 798. She is survived by a loving family, who she deeply loved, that includes her husband of 54 years, Rodney “Snuffy” Leonard; her children, Heath Wayne Leonard and wife Kim, Carrie Timberlake and husband Kenny Dale and Rodney Luke Leonard and wife Tiffany; 9 grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Ma,” Cole Conway, Easton Leonard, Demi Leonard, Weston Leonard, Cloey Vicki Leonard, Liam Mason, Kylah Leonard, Braylee Leonard and Kyndri Leonard; one great-grandson, Gatlin Cole Conway; her siblings, Doyle Mason, Hershel Mason, Betty Hartle, Toney Mason and Jimmie Busby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Hamby and a half brother, David McAlister. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with Matt Clifton officiating and granddaughter, Demi Leonard, sharing personal remarks. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
