Alexis Marie Russell, 16, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Alexis was born November 21, 2005. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church and was currently being home schooled. Alexis is preceded in death by grandparents, Carolyn Burries, I.D. "Pee Wee" Schoonover, Donald and Lenora Russell and Brian Ramme; uncle, Brian Ramme, Jr. and great-grandmother, Pat Fillipini. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Ken and Vanessa Russell of Searcy; grandmother, Diane Ramme of Beebe, Tiffany Ramme of Quitman; siblings, Pierce Russell of the Home, D.J. Gale of Searcy, Scott Russell (Melinda) of Beebe, Danielle Taylor (Alan) of Germantown, Tennessee, Brandon Green (Evelyn) of Searcy, Serena Melton (Mikel) of Hammond, Louisiana and Justin Green (Ashley) of Searcy; aunts and uncles, Daniel Ramme of Beebe, Roger Russell (Lynette) of Prairieville, Louisiana, Jimmy Russell (Diana) of Louisiana, Karen Herrington (Monty) of Abbeville, Louisiana, Larry Schoonover (Deanna) of Clinton, Lisa Graves of Stuttgart, Steve Schoonover (Cindy) of Wynne, Melissa Mitchell (Marty) of Searcy and Grant Schoonover (Donna) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; great-grandmother, Lois Passint. Alexis leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew and a host of many friends and family. Anyone that met Alexis loved her. She never met a stranger. She handled all her trials with grace and dignity and never complained. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church with Bro. James Hays officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the White County Memorial Gardens.
