Barbara Louise Bowick, 56, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born December 14, 1964 in Monroe, Louisiana to John David Wallace and Joyce Louise Malanders Landers. She is preceded in death by her father, brothers, Allen Slade, William F. Wallace, Jerry S. Purvis, David Wallace. Barbara was raised in Louisiana and loved by many people. She will be remembered as a loving caring person and for her love for LSU. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She loved God humbly. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” She is survived by her mother; daughters, Lacey Broussard, Amber Taylor; fiancé and caretaker, John Sawyer; brothers, Johnny Wallace, Richard Wallace; sisters, Karen Evans, Linda Arrant, Nancy Wallace; 3 grandchildren.
