Brenda Irene Junior

Brenda Irene (Thompson) Junior, 59, of Bald Knob, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born in Pleasant Plains on November 11, 1962, to the late Jessie and Irene (McCluskey) Thompson. Brenda was a member of the Central Baptist Church congregation, and had a long career dedicated to taking care of children. As a passionate dog lover, Brenda considered her dogs to be part of the family. In her free time, Brenda enjoyed arts and crafts. She is survived by her fiancé, Don Hawkins; sister, Margie (Thompson) Masters; brother, Jesse Thompson (Revon); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Junior; sister, Stella (Thompson) Rickett; and a brother, Doyle Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Central Baptist Church. Visitation will precede the service; beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Velvet Ridge Cemetery.
