Charles L. Treece, 80, of Bradford passed away October 27, 2020. He was born in Newport, Arkansas on March 27, 1940 to Charles H. Treece and Ellen Marie Treece. Charles was a construction worker and spent many years building Ronald McDonald Houses and Lexington Hotels. He was a member of Bradford Baptist Church. Charles had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger; most people knew him by the nicknames, Booger and Red. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Joyce Hendricks. He is survived by his wife, Martha Treece; daughters, Billie Jean Churchwell, Tammy Cockrum (Frank), Tina Aston, Alina Nichols (Allen); son, Paul Treece (Christina); step-children, Sandy Espy (Jerry), Cheri Ditto, Larry Ditto, Daniel Ditto (Maria); 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Leisure; and brothers, Jerry Treece (Marie), Steve Treece (Lisa). Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Coffeyville Cemetery in Bradford. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
