Dwayne Buel Holleman

April 2, 1941 - January 27, 2022

Dwayne Holleman passed away on January 27 , 2022 at the age of 80 years old. He was born April 2, 1941 to Buel Holleman and Opal Oliver Holleman of Rose Bud Ar. He is survived by his wife Wanda Head Holleman of Searcy. Dwayne and Wanda were married June 29 1958 and have four children. Mark (Linda) of Searcy, Jeff ( Liz) of McRae, Barry (friend Rachael) of Searcy, and a daughter Angi (Rudy) of Fayetteville. He has five grandchildren, Stacy Holleman Person of Searcy, Jason Holleman ( Marion) of Beebe, Marcus Holleman (Jessica) of Searcy, Michaela Coats (Derek) of Siloam Springs, Jayme Holleman of Beebe, He has twelve great-grands, Delani, Emma and Tessa of Searcy, Cole, Kenzie (twins) and Oliver of Searcy, Karly, Jaycee and Clara of Beebe, Zoey Holleman of Beebe, Luke and Logan (twins) of Siloam Springs. Ron Holleman (Sue) of Fort Collins, Colorado, his only brother and two special sisters, Reba Cook and Sharon Churchwell of Pangburn, AR. Dwayne was a long time member of Landmark Baptist Church (58 years), serving as a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Treasurer and worked tirelessly in the Bus Ministry for seven years bringing hundreds of children to church. He loved his Pastor and Church family. He owned City Auto Sales and Service for over fifty years and was know as the V W Bug Man. He was chairman of the Toys for Tots for years. He, along with the Jaycees of Searcy, started the first Pee Wee Football Program. He was a board member of the Fairview Fire Department and served as President. He died from complications of Covid. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Landmark Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Gum Springs Cemetery.
