Elzina R. Wright

Elzina R. Wright, 71, of Bald Knob, formerly of Louisiana, passed from this earth on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Unity Health Hospital in Searcy. She was born September 26, 1949 in Saint Francisville, Louisiana to the late Major Rayford and Francis (Hagrove) Rayford. Mrs. Wright was 1 of 14 children born to her parents. She enjoyed taking care of her kids and grandkids. Elzina attended the Agape Church in Little Rock. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Robert J. Wright; 3 children, Deloris Wright, Shadrick Wright and Titus Wright; 5 grandchildren, Erick Washington, Alexus Washington, Jawan Washington, Angel Wright and Jahem Washington; 4 great-grandchildren, adopted children, Davion Rogers and Constance Franklin; 3 brothers and 1 sister; as well as a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by her parents. There will be a Celebration of Life held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Visitation will begin an hour prior at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob.
