Girtha Lillian Keck

Girtha Lillian Keck, 87, of Judsonia, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was born July 13, 1933 to the late James and Eddie Lena (Moore) McDaniel. Mrs. Keck was a dedicated Pastor’s wife for decades, working along side her husband, Chester “C.L.” Keck who pastored in the Assemblies of God Churches in Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi. She taught Sunday school for many years and always worked very hard with all church activities. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She is survived by her children, Jane Spencer (John) and Larry Keck (Arlene); sister, Jone McDaniel (Ralph); sisters-in-law, Juanita Hall (Joe) and Veona Counce (J.L.); 11 grandchildren, Lutonia Hester (Elton), Virginia Money (Darren), Lesli Chestnut (Jack), Johnne Allen (Zack), Lena Farnsworth (Matt), Jackawin Luther (Tony), Andy Keck (Cassandra), Ester Keck, Karl Keck, Anthony Keck, Jacob Keck, 41 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pastor C.L. Keck; a son, Jonathan Keck, 1 great-great granddaughter, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating.
