Virginia Mae Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Virginia Mae Henley Hall, 87, of Velvet Ridge, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on December 25, 1934 in Charlotte, AR, to Dallas and Alma Henley. Virginia was a member of Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. She loved cooking and was known for her amazing sugar cookies and homemade pies. Virginia also enjoyed gardening and doing absolutely anything with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Virginia met her husband, Wallace Dean Hall, in Charlotte. W.D. and Virginia were married for 54 years and blessed with two children, Vaughn and Debbie. She retired from International Shoe Plant and started her antiquing career where she and W.D. opened Country Corner Antiques. Survivors include her children, Vaughn Hall and wife Kathy of Concord, and daughter Deborah Rutledge and husband Richard of Judsonia; six grandchildren, Alesia Harsson and husband Andy, Kelli White and husband Greg, Kristie Kennedy and husband Tobin, Kara Queary and husband Billy, Andrew Pope and wife Anna, and Kayla Lock and husband David; eleven great-grandchildren, Amber Dalton, Kendall Stephenson, Lizzie White, Sydney Harsson, Tanner Queary, Hannah Harsson, Taylor White, Jaxon Queary, Barrett Lock, Kambrie Kennedy, Kenzlie Kennedy, and countless cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Alma Henley; her husband, W.D “Dub” Hall; four siblings, Olena Young, James Henley, Imogene Smart, Vivian Smart; and her grandson, Matthew Hall. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 2:00pm, at the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Arkansas.
