Wanda Jean Sackett (81) of Russell departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Unity Health in Searcy, AR. She was born March 3, 1941 in Ironton, MO; she was the daughter of Lemro and Mable Hartwick. Jean dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She spent 51wonderful years married to Jim Sackett until his passing. Jean was a homemaker, cook, and gardener. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling with her late husband, and square dancing. Jean had so much love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew her, and by those fortunate enough to call her Nanny. She is survived by her daughter; Debbie (Joe) Blevins, Son; Donald Sackett, Sisters: Tootie King and Evelyn Pitloun, Brother; Homer Hartwick, Grandchildren; Desarae (Jimmy), Megan (Lance), Alexis (Tanner), Hayleigh, Christina, and Jordan, Great Grandchildren; Thea, Rhenn, and Asher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Jim Sackett, Brother; Sonny Hartwick, daughter; Cheryl Evans, and Grandson; Jesse Blevins. Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Blevins officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at a later date at Carter Cemetery in Russell, AR.
