Beverly Bolding Ward

Beverly Bolding Ward, 76, of Beebe, Arkansas was born on April 10, 1949 in Searcy, AR to Joseph & Norma Bolding. She passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and granny. She operated a clothing store, The Corral, in Beebe for many years & thoroughly enjoyed talking to & getting to know all her customers. After closing the store & having been out of high school for 27 years & at age 45, she went on to get her college degree at the University of Central Arkansas in early childhood education on an academic scholarship after her outstanding academic achievements in first semester. After completing her degree, Beverly worked in the No Child Left Behind Program at Wilber D Mills Co-op in Beebe, AR. She traveled to various schools helping young children who were struggling academically, she loved making a difference in those children’s lives. She left her job at the Co-op to become a full time granny to her two beautiful grand-daughters & she loved every minute of being a granny. Beverly never met a stranger and was immediately loved by anyone who met her. She was often described as sweet and kind. She always worried about everyone around her. Her family would say she was the peacekeeper, to always be kind to everyone. She always taught them to follow The Golden Rule to treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. She was a true blessing to her family and she loved them very much. Beverly is proceeded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Bolding and her father, Joseph Bolding Jr; her brother Wesley Bolding; her sister in law, Charlotte Bolding; a niece, Julie Bolding; her brother in law, Gary Safley; and her beloved toy poodle Diamond. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lavon Ward; her children Mike & Steve Ward; her grandchildren Kayleigh (Cody) Cole, Ambrynne (Marcus) Ward; great-grandchildren Athan, Karlee, Ava, Axel, & Collins; her sister, Deanna Safley; sister in law, Carolyn Bolding; & a host of nieces, nephews, &cousins. Graveside memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the pavilion in Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia, Arkansas with Brother Toby Gilmore officiating. Arrangement's are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
