Carolyn Diane Westbrook

Carolyn “Diane” Westbrook, 79, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born May 29, 1946 to the late Milton Brown and Christine Thelma Brown in Little Rock, Arkansas. Diane was a devoted wife to Harold Westbrook. They married on September 6, 1970 and together, they shared almost 55 years of marriage, raising a family built on faith, love, and devotion. She’s remembered and loved for her life’s passions, which consisted of flower gardening, sewing, playing church hymns on her piano, capturing nature through her camera lens, painting, and crafting. But most of all, she was her children and grandchildren‘s biggest cheerleader. She loved bluegrass music, traveling, and camping with her loved ones, and she was big on family traditions. When her children were younger & in school, she was the first person to be called by Searcy high school when they needed a substitute teacher. Her love language was hospitality. She was always cooking for others and opening up her home for gatherings. Diane is survived by her husband, Harold Westbrook, and her three children, Christie (Ashley) Brooks of Searcy, Michael Westbrook of Searcy, Jennifer (Wesley) Grady of Searcy, and four grandchildren: Lexi and Lawson Brooks, and Noah and Wyatt Grady. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Christine Thelma Brown, and her father, Milton Brown. The family would like to extend heartfelt, thanks to her caregiver, Mary Beth Smith, and the Arkansas hospice healthcare team Along with those that have extended out their love, care, and prayers during this time. Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory and legacy will live on and all the hearts she touched. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 3:00pm. Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery.
