Charles Ward McMullen III

Charles Ward McMullen III, age 48, of Judsonia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, with his beloved family by his side. Charlie was truly one of a kind, a great man with a kind and compassionate heart who was loved and respected by many. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Charlie was born on February 3, 1978, to Charles McMullen Jr. and Gloria Jeanne McMullen. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man whose greatest joy in life was his family. For Charlie, family was everything. He cherished the time spent with his wife and children and created countless memories that they will carry in their hearts forever. Charlie enjoyed many things in life, including riding 4-wheelers, working on vehicles, and listening to 90’s rock. He was proudly a Ford man and had a special love for Mustangs, especially Fox Bodies, as well as his F250 truck. Whether he was working on vehicles, fixing things, enjoying one of his many hobbies, or simply enjoying time with those he loved, Charlie found happiness in the simple things. Charlie had a heart for helping others and would do whatever he could to lend a hand. A mechanic by trade, he spent the last few years working on school buses and driving a school bus route. He quickly became much more than just a bus driver to the children he transported. They loved Charlie, and he loved them right back. He took special care to make each child feel remembered and loved. Every Christmas, Charlie made sure each child on his route received a gift, often a bus keychain for their backpack, a small gesture that meant so much and reflected the kind of person he was. Charlie’s kindness was never about recognition. He simply believed in helping people and making a difference wherever he could. His big heart, beautiful smile, sense of humor, and genuine compassion left an impression on countless lives. He was the kind of person people could count on, and his absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Cindy McMullen; his children, Charles McMullen IV, Carlie McMullen, and Chase McMullen; his parents, Charles McMullen Jr. and Jeannie McMullen; his siblings, William “Billy” (Rebecca) McMullen, Cliff (Tara) McMullen, and Cami (Ken) Bloesch; along with his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and others who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Mildred McMullen; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Imogene Crail; and his beloved friend, Carlos “Luis” Salinas. Charlie was saved and baptized in 2006. His faith, his family, and his love for others were important parts of who he was. He will forever be remembered for his beautiful smile, his generous spirit, his willingness to help others, and the tremendous heart he shared so freely with those around him. Though Charlie’s time here was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will remain long after his passing. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife and children, in the stories shared by his family and friends, and in the countless lives made brighter by his kindness. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, faithful friend, and genuinely good man who never hesitated to help someone in need. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Cliff McMullen, Billy McMullen, Jack Bratton, Daniel Darby, Paul Yingling, and Scott Hodgson.
