Fairra "Jerri" Geraldine Mayhue

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerri Mayhue, the kindest, most beautiful soul, who graced this world for 86 years. She was a faithful member to the Pine View Church of Christ, a devoted wife to the late Billy Mayhue for 53 years, wonderful great and great great-grandmother, loving nanny, cherished sister, beloved aunt, nurturing mother, and a dear friend to so many. Her love and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Born on January 31, 1938 to the late D.T. Fisher and Maxine Walker Fisher, Jerri was a beacon of warmth, strength, and unwavering generosity. She was the cornerstone of our family, always extending a hand, a comforting word, or a listening ear to anyone in need. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and the smell of home-cooked meals, always made with care and affection. As a mother and grandmother, she nurtured with patience and grace, teaching her children and grandchildren the importance of kindness, compassion, and unity. She was a nanny who brought joy and a sense of wonder to those lucky enough to be under her care, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Her kindness was limitless, her beauty radiant, not only in her outward appearance but more so in the way she lived and loved. Whether through small acts of generosity or profound moments of wisdom, she touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her laughter, her stories, and her tender presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Jerri leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and all who knew her. She was proceeded in death by her parents: D. T. Fisher and Maxine Walker Fisher; siblings: Jean Stewart, Barbara Croom, and Francis D. Fisher; great great granddaughter Chevy Sue King She is survived by her loving family: Siblings: Norma Snook, Roger Fisher (Jeannie); 3 children David Mayhue (Lori), Connie Blevins (Richard), and Doug Mayhue (Brenda); Grandchildren: Shelly Davis (Curtis), Lori Bone (Chad), Michael Brinkley (Amy), Megan Eastin (Hunter), Cole Mayhue (Courtney); Great-grandchildren: Morgan King (Victor), Presley Gregg (Austin Williams), Farrah Turner, Jonathan Turner (Kendyl), Asa Foster, Beauen Brinkley, Braylen Brinkley, Zander Mayhue, Lynnen Mayhue and Cai Mayhue; Great great-granddaughter: Ella King, Greyson Boyett and Nash Boyett Along with a host of other friends and family members who she loved dearly. Though we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit and love will guide us always. To know her is to love her. You will be forever missed and forever loved. Funeral Service will be at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 with Bro. Danny Blevins officiating. Visitation will precede at 11:30 a.m. Both conducted at Pine View Church of Christ, Pangburn, AR. Interment will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bradford.
