Jake Alexander Harris

Jake Alexander Harris, 34 of Bradford, Arkansas, born October 12, 1990 to James and Bobby Harris, earned his Heavenly Wings on August 31, 2025. He was a member of Life In Victory in Bald Knob, Arkansas. He worked at Mighty White Marine in Augusta as a rigger, building boats, which goes hand in hand as he had a true passion for fishing, and he loved his job as well as the team he worked with and called family with passion. Jake also loved to go arrowhead hunting as well as hunting game, collecting knives, working on vehicles and loved working on anything that was a challenge and loved the outdoors. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends, especially his children, Joshua and Jemma, which was his life. Jake also loved time he spent with his only nephew, Jameson Harris. He never met a stranger and was the type of man that would go that extra mile in all he did. Jake had the biggest of hearts as well as that smile he would wear and it showed in everything he did and everywhere he went. No matter what he would always make you laugh with his sense of humor and make you feel loved as well as impact your life with his devotion in all he did. He was always a jokester and never a dull moment when he was around. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene Phillips and Leon Harris; 3 uncles, Roger Harris, Fred and John Phillips. Jake leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Joshua and Jemma Harris of Bradford; mother, Bobby Harris of Searcy; father, James Harris of Bradford; brother, Nicholas Harris of Searcy; nephew, Jameson Harris of Searcy; grandmother, Beatrice Howard of Searcy; grandmother, Mary Lou Harris of Bradford; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends, as well as a host of loving and caring brothers and sisters in Christ at Life In Victory as well as his work family at Mighty White Marine. There will always be a part of Jake that lives within each and every one of us and he will be deeply missed. Jake will always be remembered as…….A Jack of all trades, a Master at none. A friend to so many, a believer in one. Services will be conducted on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Powell Funeral Home of Bradford. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am. Funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Goad Cemetery, Bradford.
