Jennifer Kaye Reeves

Jennifer Kaye Reeves, 29, of Batesville, departed this life Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born August 8, 1989, the daughter of Della Dowell and Delbert Reeves. Someone truly special comes along once in a lifetime. Jennifer was truly special. She was an angel here among us. Jen never met a stranger and got excited over everyone she came in contact with. Anything given to her, even if it was of no value, was greatly treasured. She loved music of any kind. Jen cherished life. Jen cherished her bubba, her nieces, and nephew. She loved her family and friends. She loved riding the tractor with her dad, Deano. She loved and raised a 2-day old calf that she named Maggie which was given to her by John and Steve Wyatt of Wyatt Farms. One of Jen’s main accomplishments was being part of The Exceptional Abilities Pageant. She loved being a part of Special Olympics, especially bowling, track and basketball. Jen was a member of the Bethesda Church of Christ. She loved Camo, Duck Dynasty, and Boxing. She was a huge fan of Uncle Si. She liked watching JJ Da Boss on Discovery and WWE Wrestling. Her favorite wrestlers were Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. One of the most important things we all learned from Jen was to enjoy life. Left to cherish Jen’s memory are her parents, Della Dowell and Deano Grissom of Batesville, and Delbert and Doris Reeves of Trumann; one brother, Teddy Reeves (Katlyn Cole) of Trumann; great-grandmother, Onita Dowell; one nephew, Luke Reeves, two nieces, Lacey Reeves and Jaci Reeves; best friend, Stephanie Branscum; boyfriend, Markus Mitchell; her physician and close family friend, Dr. Skip Baker; several cousins, aunts, uncles, and an army of friends. Jen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and Kathy Dowell, Irene and Bobby Grissom, and Bert and Dorthiea Reeves. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Teddy Reeves, Delbert Reeves, Billy Dobbins, Jerry Speakman, Steve Harmon, and Joe Sifford. Honorary pallbearers are Tye Henderson, Terry Vaughn, Archie Cooper, and Jordan Dowell. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Bethesda Church of Christ from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Larry Sellers and Bro. Terry Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at the Campground Cemetery.
