Jerry Ryan Brannon

Jerry Ryan Brannon, 35, of Maumelle, Arkansas, went into the comforting arms of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born July 25, 1989 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Randy Brannon and Milesa Huff. Ryan was a 2007 graduate of Searcy High School and furthered his education at Harding University, ASU Beebe and went on to graduate from UCA in Conway with a bachelor degree in business. Ryan had a passion for people and numbers, which led him to work in banking as a loan officer. There was nothing more important to Ryan than his family, friends, and the Lord. He was fiercely loyal and protective of those in his life. He often said that his niece and nephew stole his heart the moment he met them, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Ryan always saw the best parts of someone. If anyone ever felt down about an aspect of their life, he had a way of helping them see the best and brightest parts of themselves. He was an incredibly deep thinker and was very knowledgeable in many areas, including the Bible. Ryan could hold discussions with the most seasoned ministers on topics relating to the Word. He could be counted on to send his family and friends devotionals and spiritual memes regularly. If someone had questions about their faith, he was more than willing to sit down and help share his theological knowledge without judgement. Ryan had a passion for music and comedy, and his sense of humor could cause the heartiest of laughs amongst those around him. Although he may be gone from our presence here on earth, we are comforted knowing Ryan is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his father, Randy Brannon; mother and stepfather, Milesa and Bob Huff; sister, Rachel Cooper; nephew, Trace Cooper; niece, Maeve Ryan Cooper; step brother Scott Huff (Kim) and step sister Brandy Tarini (Gregg) their children Reece, Isabella, Novell; grandparents, Jerry and Nancy Brannon and Dana Stroud; aunts and uncles, Bobby and Michele Ashlin and Randy and Milinda Holman; cousins, Rachael Andrade, Brandon Holman, Amanda Hammons, Kenneth Ashlin, Hunter Taylor, and Austin Holman. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carlos Stroud. A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy with Bro. Keith Lunceford and Bro. Andy Garlington officiating.
