Raysel Arvis Bradberry, Sr.

Raysel Arvis Bradberry, Sr., 91, of Floyd, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Beebe Retirement Center with his family at his side. He was born in Floyd on August 20, 1934 to the late Wm. Maynard and Sylvia (Webb) Bradberry. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Beth (Wood)Bradberry of Floyd, his three children: Denisa Morton (Dennis) of Searcy, Angela Davis of Floyd, and Raysel Bradberry, Jr. (Denise) of Searcy, one sister: Charlotte Rose of Sherwood, grandchildren: Michele Ceal of Searcy, Emily Morton-Lercher (Bryan) of Dallas, Texas, Ryan Norris (Elli) Of Beebe, Celsea Garner (Joe) of Viola, Arkansas., Morgan Smith (Jordan) of Can Hill, Arkansas, and Madison Curtis (Ethan) of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Great Grandchildren: Austin, Riley, and Avaree Ceal; Alexa, Machenzie, and Kenna Norris, Zeruiah, Zipporah, Hadassah, Sapphira, and Manasseh Garner, Nora Smith and James Curtis, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandchild, Crystal Tucker. “Pop” as he was known to family friends, loved the outdoors, especially fishing with Mom, but he loved sharing the bounty with others even more. There was nothing any better than getting together at Mom and Pop’s for a big fish fry and a couple of freezers of homemade ice cream! Some even claimed he made the best malts in Searcy during the Frozen Delite years. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Beebe Retirement Center, the staff of Home Instead, especially caregivers, Michelle and Robin, and Gentiva Hospice, Sarah, RN. The family will be gathered at Mom and Pop’s in Floyd at 121 Dogwood trail and would like to invite family and friends to drop by and share your favorite memories. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 2:00pm at Powell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in White County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joe Garner, Jordan Smith, Ryan Norris, Bryan Lercher, Scott Stracener, and Lainey Webb. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net
