Vikki Carol Sellers

Vikki Carol (Brown) Sellers, 80, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born April 27, 1945, in Steprock, Arkansas to the late Harvie Ardell Brown and Louise (Talley) Brown. In addition to her parents, Vikki was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jimmy Sellers and two brothers, Dallan and Ronald Brown. She is survived by her son, Rick Sellers of North Little Rock, Arkansas, her daughter, Rhonda Clause and husband Robert of Judsonia, Arkansas and her granddaughter, Brooke Lyons of Cabot, Arkansas, She is also survived by her four sisters, Brenda Collins and husband Harold (Bo) of Augusta, Arkansas, LaNell Fraser of McCrory, Arkansas, Mary Majors of Searcy, Arkansas, and Paula Jones and husband William of McCrory, Arkansas; two brothers, Bill Brown of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Steve Brown and wife Gasha of Benton, Arkansas, 37 nieces and nephews and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Vikki was a faithful member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church and loved the Lord and her church family. Vikki’s greatest passion was loving and caring for her family. She was truly the kindest, most selfless person you could imagine. Family extended past blood family, as she also took care of her family of friends and co-workers. Although Vikki enjoyed going out to eat, she loved cooking for and with her family. She was an amazing cook and never measured a thing. She used a little of this and a little of that and things always turned out perfect. In the winter, she loved decorating for Christmas and in the spring and summer, you could find her outside working in her flower beds. The beach was one of her favorite places and she especially loved going there with her sisters. Vikki was lovingly referred to as the “energizer bunny” because she was always going and doing something. It was impossible to keep her still for long. She actively volunteered for Paws Inn and loved helping there as many days per week as she could. She worked several different jobs through the years, including working with her sister, Brenda doing medical billing, which she continued doing until recently. Her most important role of all was being the true matriarch of our family. She took that job very seriously and we always knew we were her number one priority. She will be missed more than words can express, but we find comfort in knowing she was welcomed into Heaven and rejoined family that went before her. What a sweet reunion she must be having! Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery.
