In Loving Memory of Wanda (Reeves) Riley Wanda had a gift for bringing beauty into the world—not just through the flower arrangements she so lovingly created and shared, but through the kindness she showed to everyone she met. With a heart full of love and a spirit that seldom spoke ill of others, she touched the lives of many. Her love for Gene was unwavering, a bond that remained strong until his passing. They were both retired and enjoyed life on the Little Red River for many years, sharing a love for fishing and bird watching. Wanda found immense joy and pride in her family—her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—each of whom carries a part of her warmth and legacy. Wanda’s memory is cherished by her son, Douglas Eugene Riley, and his wife, Debbie Bisbee Riley. Their daughter, and her first granddaughter, Autumn Griffin, alongside her husband, Collin, and their two sons, Dax and John Griffin, will forever hold her memory close. Her grandson, Austin Riley, and his wife, Pía Quiroga-Riley, continue her legacy through their five children: SaraBeth, Nate, Hannah Kate, Isabella, and Gabriel. Her first daughter, Tammy Dixon, and her husband, Jim Dixon, hold dear the many cherished moments shared. Their sons, Drew, with his wife Katie, and Bryce, with his wife Kaitlyn and their daughter Baylor, brought her much pride and happiness. Her second daughter, Sonya Riley Davis, and her husband, Chris Davis, share in the legacy of love Wanda built. Their children, Mary Katherine Reese and her husband, Colton Reese, along with their son, Carter, and Riley Davis and spouse, John, will forever carry the lessons and love she so freely gave. Wanda is also survived by her beloved sister, Neaomie Reeves Ryan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Riley, and her parents, Gladys and Homer Reeves. She is also preceded in death by her three brothers: Don, Jim Jr. (J.J), and Roy Gene Reeves. Wanda found great joy in supporting her 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren in their many school sports activities, always cheering them on with love and pride. Wanda had a successful career in real estate, working for many years and earning the recognition of a multi-million-dollar producer on several occasions. She also served on the Searcy Realtor’s Association board, contributing her expertise and leadership to the community. Her love, kindness, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. Though she has passed from this world, her presence will always be felt in the love she shared and the beauty she left behind. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:00pm, at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Visitation will precede the service, with family hour beginning at 12:00pm, and public at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery in Russell, Arkansas.
